Don't have much room in the budget or time on your hands for an upgrade? This one is quick and easy and peel-and-stick tiles are a great solution. These were installed in November 2023 and are still holding up great.

Answers To Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Is this particular peel-and-stick tile easy to install?

    1. This is SUPER easy to install. The adhesive is very strong and tiles are easy to cut and manipulate around outlets, trim, etc. Not all peel and stick tiles are created equal, but this manufacturer seems to have perfected the ease of use while prioritizing design intent that provides a realistic tile appearance without the mess.

  2. Is it easy to remove?

    1. The intent for this project is a long-term solution so even though I do not plan on taking it down any time soon, I did test out the removal while installing and can confirm that they come off easily with little to no damage to the wall. The key is to apply heat from a hair dryer to soften the adhesive and then carefully peel off. See video below for reference.

  3. Can you install on a textured wall?

    1. The manufacturer suggests a smooth and flat surface. My assumption would be that this is due to both adherence and telegeraphing as it could compromise both the strength of the adhesive and potentially leave an impression that reflects through the face of the product if the substrate is not prepped properly.

  4. Can I install them in a bathroom with moisture present?

    1. Although the tile is heat and humidity resistant, they are not waterproof and should not be used in the shower or a bath that can come in contact with water.

  5. Are they durable?

    1. Absolutely! Impressed with the quality, durability that's holding up great for us

  6. Are the tiles easy to cut?

    1. Yes! The manufacturer recommends using a utility knife, but I used scissors and and X-Acto knife to trim and it worked great.

  7. Is the product textured?

    1. It is! This is one of the main reasons I love this product because the textured surface resembles a realistic grout line.

  8. How did you terminate the tiles on your wall?

    1. I used a piece of wood trim and installed it horizontally like a chair rail to conceal the edges of the peel-and-stick tile and painted green to match.

  9. Do they offer other colors?

    1. Yes! Lots of great options, styles, finishes and sizes to choose from!

  10. Where can I buy these?

    1. Linked here! Hope you love them as much as I do!

Hope this helps to answer any outstanding questions for such a versatile product. I have zero regrets and am already scheming up something exciting in the basement with this same manufacturer.
